He was raised in Challengers Village by his mother and great grandmother and attended primary and secondary school in Basseterre.
At school Glenn was recognised for his sporting prowess and his above-average height and lightening quick movements on the basketball court soon earned him the nickname ‘The Ghost’.
After being accepted into the St. Kitts National Basketball team, Glenn was talent-spotted by a US University for a four-year basketball scholarship. It was Glenn’s dream to obtain a university degree and in 1994 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.
After graduating, Glenn returned to St. Kitts where he is currently Marketing and Customer Service Manager at The Cable. He lives in Challengers with his wife and two children.
Glenn Fitzroy “Ghost” Phillip has worked tirelessly for Constituency #4 and country, contributing massively to the development of St. Kitts and Nevis.
His significant achievements include spearheading the laptop for students programme; and positioning St. Kitts and Nevis as the regional leader in cell phone ownership, internet connectivity, Wi-fi access and computer use. He was also reponsible for bringing CPL cricket to the Federation.
A passionate believer in advancing youth, his 25 Remarkable Teens project, which highlights those who have overcome the odds, is especially close to his heart. A beloved figure, who has been outstanding in representing St. Kitts and Nevis for years, “Ghost” isdetermined to continue “doing more in #4.”
