Attorney General Under Pressure From PAM Ministers
Word has come that Attorney General Vincent Byron is under tremendous pressure from the elected People’s Action Movement (PAM) Ministers of government concerning the sexual assault allegations circulating within his chambers that he continues to ignore.
In the past few weeks, the sordid matter was revealed in the public sphere, serving as a heartbreaking but solid example of the advantageous and corrupt behaviour of key members of the tripartite coalition government. Additional information indicates that the elected PAM Ministers are utterly frantic and furious as the matter is an obvious ‘spoke in their wheel’.
For weeks, the general public has been questioning the AG’s stony silence on the matter. To this date, he has not uttered a single word regarding the allegation, completely disregarding the victim, her plight, and the fact that what was done to her is a criminal offence.
It appears however, that while the AG has been publicly silent on the matter, he has been enduring a host of unadulterated verbal ‘shaftings’ from his Cabinet colleagues. Sources close to the Cabinet indicate that they are of the view that this matter is yet another crippling blow to the crumbling coalition administration.
While they scream at one another and scrabble in an attempt to save face, there has not been a single iota of effort on the government’s part to ensure that the woman, the victim of the multiple sexual assaults, gets justice. She is currently yet another victim of the sexist misogynistic Harris regime of St. Kitts and Nevis, proof that this administration is far more concerned about optics and self enrichment than about justice, rights, freedoms, and the safety of our people, especially our Federation’s women.
